About The Position

This role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The Telecom Field Supervisor acts as a liaison between various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project execution. Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in telecom construction or project coordination.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of telecom infrastructure, construction processes, and relevant industry standards.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Familiarity with fiber optic and wireless communication systems.

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing telecom construction projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documents.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Assist in preparing and managing project budgets.
  • Track project expenditures and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure resources are allocated efficiently to meet project objectives.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities comply with company standards, industry regulations, and client specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain project integrity.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, and regulatory approvals.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and filed appropriately.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts promptly.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Safety Management: Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety among all project participants.
  • Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses.
