About The Position

Your Mission: As a Route Supervisor, you’ll be the launch commander for daily route operations: Collaborate with the sales and delivery staff to improve processes and drive productivity while maintaining the highest levels of customer service satisfaction. Assist with the training of all merchandisers with a focus on correct merchandising techniques, waste elimination, and Company policies and procedures. Review and analyze daily route plans and work assignments to ensure proper work-load distribution among all employees. Help prioritize work assignments for merchandisers to meet sales, delivery, and customer demands. Measure and utilize task data to provide fact-based feedback to retailers and employees when discussing overall performance. Survey and monitor employee productivity and make recommendations for improvements. Other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to manage needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders.
• Selling knowledge with proven ability to create and sell specific promotional programs & key initiatives.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Work with minimal supervision; be a self-starter, team player and have the motivation to learn.
• Ability to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50 lbs.; bend over, reach above head height and kneeling.
• Operate and maneuver a pallet jack.
• A valid driver’s license and excellent driving record are required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule if necessary.
