About The Position

QUARTERSAWN Design Build is seeking a Field Supervisor to be an integral part of their dynamic journey in becoming the preeminent design build firm in MN. The company specializes in major upgrades to older homes in Minneapolis and St. Paul, ranging from $250,000 to $2M, with a passion for creatively solving problems to make life better by providing exceptional design solutions and tailor-made residential remodeling experiences. They are looking for an individual who is quality and homeowner focused, detail and growth oriented, and self-aware. The compensation is based on relevant work experience and skills and includes benefits and performance bonus opportunities.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience running a residential job site, could have been in a Lead Carpenter system - older homes and remodeling a PLUS.
Must have a college degree or trade school training and be detail oriented and well organized.
Must be comfortable holding the line with Trade Partners as far as work quality, holding commitments and completion thoroughness (clean up).
Professionalism, with good communication and strong planning skills.
Comfortable with technology - JobTread knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the trade partner schedules on the projects you are assigned.
Responsible for Quality Control of the performance of the trade partners and our carpentry staff.
Creating an exceptional Homeowner’s Experience by providing clear, timely, and accurate communication with Homeowners.
Provide management of time and goals for 1 to 2 carpenters.
Work closely with Quartersawn’s Project Managers, Designers and Carpenters to ensure internal goals and expectations are met.
Role is approximately 25% office based and 75% on project sites.
