The Weatherization Field Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing weatherization crews while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work in the field. This hands-on leadership role focuses on crew performance, customer satisfaction, quality assurance, and operational excellence. The supervisor works closely with the Operations Manager to support daily field operations, maintain fleet and equipment readiness, and manage inventory and materials. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Associate Degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in weatherization, residential construction, energy efficiency, or a related trade.
  • Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of weatherization practices, building science, and field operations.
  • Experience managing fleet, equipment, and inventory resources.
  • BPI Certification required.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned service territory.
  • Ability to work in residential field environments, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor Weatherization Crew Leads and Technicians.
  • Conduct field visits, job site inspections, and quality control reviews.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to develop crew capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, policies, and work procedures.
  • Oversee fleet, tools, equipment, and inventory to maintain operational readiness.
  • Coordinate materials and resources needed to support field production.
  • Address customer concerns and promote a positive customer experience.
  • Assist with scheduling, workforce planning, productivity tracking, and operational reporting.
  • Support employee certifications, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives.
