About The Position

The Field Supervisor is responsible for scheduling and supervising a team of field installers, assisting with installations as needed. This role involves overseeing approximately 5-6 installers and ensuring that all installations are performed correctly and efficiently according to project specifications. The supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards, documenting job progress, and acting as a liaison between installers and project managers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be able to lift/carry 25-50 lbs. frequently
Experience using power tools, such as saws and drills
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must have strong math skills
Must have strong communication skills
Must have strong problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
Ability to determine what type of tool and equipment are needed for a job

Nice To Haves

Industry experience with installation of building materials preferred

Responsibilities

Schedule and supervise installers each day on the job sites
Attend job site weekly meetings
Conduct toolbox talks
Provide daily reports on job sites
Use tools properly to ensure safety and protect the quality of doors and hardware
Report any damaged products to the supervisor
Analyze drawings, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout and assembly
Organize and document safety training, drug screens, and other documents needed depending on the contract
Act as a liaison between Installers and Project Managers
Keep detailed records of installation requirements/project specs to ensure each installation is performed correctly and efficiently
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
