About The Position

Tindall Corporation is a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer seeking a Field Superintendent for the Austin, TX region. The company's mission is to support customers, create remarkable structures, and deliver innovative solutions. This role is primarily a field position with minimal office time, requiring daily travel to job sites and occasional out-of-town travel.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 (+) years of supervisory experience is required.
• OSHA 10 Hr and OSHA 30 hr Certifications
• PCI Field Auditor certification

Nice To Haves

• College Degree (4 year) preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of prior or related precast or concrete industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs subcontractors and employees to complete projects safely, defect-free, on time, and within budget, according to plans or blueprints.
• Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans, including program requirements, labor hours, cycle times, production costs, and image.
• Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and gathers data on product specifications and delivery dates.
• Provides guidance for the erection process plan, including personnel, material, subcontract, facility, and equipment needs.
• Coordinates erection and field service activities with other organizational functions to optimize production and utilization of resources.
• Reviews production and operating reports, and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
• Performs administrative activities for field operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
• Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff to achieve business objectives.
• Plans and schedules subcontractors.
• Provides input for research and development of new products.
• Trains employees on company policies, procedures, and regulations, and ensures compliance.
• Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Provides input for the strategic plan of the erection division.
