About The Position

As a Field Superintendent, you will oversee and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing a team of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining a high standard of quality and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Field Superintendent or similar role in construction management.
Extensive knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures in construction.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions and environments.
Ability to travel as required by project needs.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Commitment to upholding company values and promoting a positive work culture.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site. Provide guidance, motivation, and support to ensure a cohesive and productive team environment.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability among all team members.
Monitor and inspect work progress to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and tools necessary for construction activities. Manage inventory and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies. Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively and professionally.
Identify potential issues or conflicts on-site and implement proactive solutions to minimize disruptions and delays. Resolve disputes or conflicts in a timely and diplomatic manner.
Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, change orders, and as-built drawings.
Monitor project expenditures and costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Review and approve project expenses, invoices, and subcontractor payments.
