About The Position

As a Field Superintendent, you will oversee and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing a team of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining a high standard of quality and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Field Superintendent or similar role in construction management.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures in construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Ability to travel as required by project needs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to upholding company values and promoting a positive work culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site. Provide guidance, motivation, and support to ensure a cohesive and productive team environment.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability among all team members.
  • Monitor and inspect work progress to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and tools necessary for construction activities. Manage inventory and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies. Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively and professionally.
  • Identify potential issues or conflicts on-site and implement proactive solutions to minimize disruptions and delays. Resolve disputes or conflicts in a timely and diplomatic manner.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, change orders, and as-built drawings.
  • Monitor project expenditures and costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Review and approve project expenses, invoices, and subcontractor payments.
