About The Position

This position at Zones LLC focuses on managing and maintaining user endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other mobile devices. The role involves completing proper inventory and asset recording processes, traveling to customer locations daily, and requiring a flexible work schedule. A health clearance or exemption for TB, SARS-CoV2, Flu, MMR, Varicella, and Tdap is necessary. The job description is not exhaustive and duties may change. Zones is a Global Solution Provider specializing in Digital Workplace, Cloud & Data Center, Networking, Security, and Managed/Professional/Staffing services, operating in over 120 countries.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years’ experience with PC systems, related peripherals, structure cabling, and common software programs and Operating Systems.
  • A+ certification
  • 5+ years’ experience with desktop/laptop hardware.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with standard Windows O/S and Office suites.
  • Apple iOS knowledge
  • Ability to perform final configuration tasks on customer premises.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to thoroughly and accurately perform inventory and asset recording and complete paperwork as required by customer, including vendor warranties.
  • Strong technical background in electronics, mechanical, and/or software.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to navigate campus grounds comfortably for extended periods of time throughout the day to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations to Customer in the review, inventory, and procurement of end-user systems.
  • Deploy end-user systems (as needed) for hires or as part of normal system refreshes.
  • Provide on-going day-to-day management of Customer’s end-user systems and devices.
  • Protect Customer’s end-user systems via Customer-supplied anti-virus and anti-malware solutions.
  • Provide destruction and disposal services including Certificate(s) of Destruction for systems that are End of Life (EOL).
  • Deploy software packages to end-user systems as specified by Customer.
  • Contact third-party suppliers including but not limited to Ricoh and HP on behalf of Customer for printer-related issues.
  • Maintain and manage Customer’s network printers including toner replacement and regular printer maintenance.
  • Provide Project Management Services for projects relating to Workstation & Printer services.
  • Maintain an inventory of Customer’s workstations, peripheral and printer devices.
  • Adherent to Customer’s onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure availability of Customer’s workstations and printers per prescribed SLAs.
