About The Position
The Field Services Technician will provide onsite desktop and field support for end-user devices, peripherals, and workplace technology with strong customer service and ITSM discipline. All work is performed onsite in Lemont, IL without work or hybrid work options.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree and technical training preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- ServiceNow/Freshworks
- Windows/macOS
- Microsoft 365
- Hardware diagnostics
Nice To Haves
- SCCM/Intune/Jamf
- Apple support tooling (as applicable)
- Basic scripting
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and break/fix for desktops, laptops, docks, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
- Support walk-up and field requests; coordinate with service desk for ticket ownership and user updates.
- Execute device lifecycle tasks including provisioning, swaps, configuration, and retirement; follow asset procedures.
- Maintain toolkits and standard repair tools; support AV installation requests as needed using standard tools.
- Comply with safety and site policies; complete required JHQ and training prior to performing work.
