The Field Services Technician is responsible for the clean-up of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. The Field Services Technicians will be expected to perform confined space entry, work hands-on, and operate a variety of equipment which may include but is not limited to pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Effectively work in a team setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional overnight travel (with ample advanced notice)
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Walk, stand, sit, and climb
  • Consistently work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
  • Possess 40 HR HAZWOP certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and package Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
  • Utilize pressure washer, hydro blast equipment, forklift, and specialty vacuum equipment.
  • Complete critical path documentation, including manifests and job summaries.
  • Communicate with the Project Manager and on-site customers.
  • Perform work in confined space entries and utilize mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, and hand tools.
  • Adhere to requirements of Company policies and procedures, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal laws.
