The Field Services Technician is responsible for the clean-up of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. The Field Services Technicians will be expected to perform confined space entry, work hands-on, and operate a variety of equipment which may include but is not limited to pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required.
Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
Valid state driver’s license required.
Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Effectively work in a team setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional overnight travel (with ample advanced notice)
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Walk, stand, sit, and climb
Consistently work in various weather conditions.
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
Possess 40 HR HAZWOP certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle and package Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
Utilize pressure washer, hydro blast equipment, forklift, and specialty vacuum equipment.
Complete critical path documentation, including manifests and job summaries.
Communicate with the Project Manager and on-site customers.
Perform work in confined space entries and utilize mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, and hand tools.
Adhere to requirements of Company policies and procedures, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal laws.
