Requirements

  • Journeyperson certification or equivalent experience in Auto Body Repair, Heavy Equipment Body Repair, or related trade.
  • 5+ years of experience in body repair and paint applications.
  • Strong knowledge of painting systems, coatings, refinishing techniques, and repair procedures.
  • Experience working independently in a field service environment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • OEM body repair and paint certifications.
  • Experience with heavy equipment, construction equipment, or commercial vehicles.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft word, excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge Hyperscale air handling units
  • Knowledge of lean processes and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced damage repairs, panel replacement, dent removal, and structural repairs.
  • Complete surface preparation, priming, painting, and refinishing to manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose damage and develop effective repair plans.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain body repair and paint equipment.
  • Provide field support for complex repair projects.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to communicate repair status and recommendations.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, repair records, and parts usage reports.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
