Position Summary The mission of the Field Services Technician is to perform a variety of field activities in support of UST, Environmental, and Geotechnical services. These field activities include, but are not limited to, drill rig operations, groundwater sampling operations, and compliance testing. The essential functions of the Technician are to: Client Perspective: This perspective focuses on the individual's relationships with clients. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED.
Valid driver’s license.
CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Willingness to travel overnight weekly
Basic familiarity with hand tools.
Operate skid steering equipment to perform routine activities.

Responsibilities

Represent the company in a professional manner and present a positive image when working with clients, contractors and the public.
Always maintain a professional and non-distracting appearance.
Maintain a good working relationship with all contractors and their personnel.
Perform physical activities associated with drill rig operations and monitoring well installations.
Perform groundwater sampling activities under the supervision of senior technical personnel.
Perform physical activities associated with compliance testing.
Routinely operate construction machinery and drive company vehicles.
Perform field work in compliance with company safety policies.
Follow policies and procedures set forth in the Employee Handbook.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Successfully achieve the financial goals set forth for your position (quality work within project budgets, direct labor hours, etc.).
Efficiently manage time towards completion of assignments within schedule and budget.
Successfully achieve metrics defined by your supervisor for skills development, knowledge acquisition, and personal growth (i.e., new software, conferences, certifications, licensure, etc.).
Complete professional development as assigned.
