About The Position

Provide field support for deployed systems. This role involves performing repairs, upgrades, or replacements on systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing significantly to team projects. The Field Services Tech IV has critical project technical leadership responsibilities and may delegate work to lower-level technicians. This position requires knowledge of the business side and contributes to strategic decisions, potentially including limited engineering work. Ensuring compliance with processes and specifications, providing input for user manuals, and training users are also key responsibilities. The role may involve performing comparable duties or assisting in other areas as needed.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in engineering, or related technical field, or experience in lieu of education.
7+ years in aviation or electrical/mechanical is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior in-theatre experience is preferred.
Prior military experience is preferred.
Full understanding of system and platform.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs, upgrades, or replacements needed on the system.
Troubleshoot complex system issues and display outstanding contribution and impact to the team and projects.
Has critical project technical leadership responsibility; may plan or delegate work assignments to lower level technicians.
Has knowledge of the business side, and contributes to strategic decisions.
May perform limited engineering work.
Ensure that all processes and inspections are followed and compliant to specifications.
Provide input for system user manuals.
Train system users as needed.
May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
