Field Services Tech II
About The Position
Provide field support for deployed systems. This role progressively contributes to the team and projects in an above-average manner. The individual will participate in department or division improvement activities, perform troubleshooting to identify areas of opportunity, compliance, and implementation issues. They will also develop, research, and recommend test procedures, utilize technical knowledge to solve complex problems, and write test plans, procedures, conduct tests, and document results. With engineering assistance, the role facilitates minor design projects from concept through production and makes necessary modifications. The position is responsible for defining technical approaches and tasks related to activities and minor projects. The individual may be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in engineering, or related technical field, or experience in lieu of education.
- 3+ years’ experience in aviation or electrical/mechanical is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities as outlined in Field Services Tech I.
Nice To Haves
- Prior military experience is preferred.
