About The Position

Our Medline ReNewal Division is hiring for a Part-Time Field Services Representative (30 hours/week) in the Anchorage area! Medline ReNewal gets used medical devices and reprocesses them resulting in less waste in landfills and savings to facilities that buy reprocessed devices at a fraction of the original cost. Under the supervision of the Regional Manager and working in the Anchorage, AK region (and surrounding areas), the Part-Time Field Services Representative (30 hours per week) is responsible for the on-going support of the Medline ReNewal Reprocessing Program to pack and ship designated medical devices as well as execute any other tasks as agreed to with the facility. This individual will deliver prompt and excellent service to maintain and grow the program through job functions which include, but are not limited to, the following:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, clean driving record (ex. minimal, minor or zero infractions on Motor Vehicle Report) and ability to travel in own vehicle to designated facility if within driving distance.
  • Credentialing/hospital certification to access assigned facilities.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or operating room setting.
  • Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience accomplishing tasks in an optimum order based on time, importance or other criteria.
  • Regular lifting at least 30 lbs.
  • Work on extended and /or "odd" or "on call" hours as business needs dictate.
  • Travel up to 80% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee preparation and shipment of materials, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
  • Identify reprocessable items and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide on-site support, addressing workflow issues and assisting with process improvements.
  • Educate and train staff on program benefits and best practices through group sessions and one-on-one discussions.
  • Support training initiatives using digital tools and reporting platforms to share performance insights.
  • Conduct scheduled facility visits, assist with onboarding, and gather feedback to enhance program effectiveness.
