About The Position

As a Field Services Driver, you will play a hands-on role in the safe transport and handling of hazardous waste materials across multiple customer sites. This is not a sit-behind-the-wheel role — our drivers are active contributors to each job from start to finish, including loading and unloading, container labeling, waste sorting, and completion of regulatory paperwork. Guaranteed 40 hours per week; overtime is required. Overnight travel expected approximately 50% or more. The pay rate starts at $25/hour, experienced drivers can earn more depending on experience. While no two days are exactly the same, a typical day may look like this: Arrive at the office and collect job paperwork Load required supplies and equipment for the day's jobs Drive to customer sites throughout the day Label drums, sort waste streams, and complete hazardous waste manifests at each stop Respond to emergency spills. Submit completed paperwork and assist with unloading the truck as needed

Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
  • Valid CDL Class B license
  • Hazmat endorsement required
  • Air Brake endorsement required
  • Tanker endorsement required
  • This role requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator. Due to respirator requirements, employees must be clean-shaven.

Responsibilities

  • Operate vacuum trucks, straight trucks, and roll-off trailers safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement
  • Accurately label containers and complete all required hazardous waste documentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
  • Communicate professionally with customers at each stop
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards
  • Completes manifests, company documentation, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed
  • Maintains a logbook for DOT compliance
  • Maintains ability to operate high-velocity vacuum trucks and all attachments
  • Operate Equipment, including vacuum truck, roll-off truck, pumps, pressure washers etc.
  • Cleaning and removing underground chemical storage tanks and preparing waste for disposal
  • Demolition labor at contaminated building and land sites
  • Operating excavation and filter press equipment
  • Handling, loading, unloading, and sampling drums
  • Responding to emergency spill situations as needed
  • Using small hand tools and providing general construction support
  • Driving waste to disposal site
  • At day's end: decontaminating equipment, completing paperwork, and prepping for the next assignment
