Field Service Technician - Entry Level
About The Position
Join the Dreisilker Team! Dreisilker Electric Motors is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Field Service Technician who is interested in building a career in the electric motor and industrial service industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving mechanical and electrical problems, and learning how industrial equipment operates. Previous electric motor experience is not required. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical or electrical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to working safely. You will work alongside experienced technicians while developing the skills needed to troubleshoot, maintain, remove, install, and service electric motors and related rotating equipment at customer facilities.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in field service preferably in a manufacturing environment or other related field.
- Successful candidates will be proficient in use of all types of hand tools and have knowledge of electrical systems.

Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced Field Service Technicians at customer locations
- Assist with the removal, installation, and setup of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment
- Perform basic mechanical inspections and equipment checks
- Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other field-service equipment
- Assist with rigging, lifting, and moving industrial equipment
- Take measurements and document equipment conditions and service findings
- Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials
- Complete service documentation accurately and professionally
- Follow Dreisilker and customer safety requirements
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Participate in training and take on additional responsibilities as skills develop
