About The Position

Pro Mach's Brenton division is seeking a talented Field Service Technician to contribute to the success of the company by providing professional service and training support for the growth and profitability of the company's product lines. This role involves non-supervised support and training on all Brenton products and systems. The position reports to the Field Service Manager. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for directing and assisting customer personnel in the installation, start-up, and training of Brenton machines and systems. They will also provide technical service support to customers when their machines are not performing, provide Engineering Department with accurate updates on all changes made to machines in the field, and be an integral part of the team for final checkout of machines assuring they are ready for shipment. The role requires technical competence, both mechanically and electrically, with the ability to move through and edit PLC and HMI programs easily. Fluency in setup and operations of all three Brenton Product Lines (Case packers, Shrink Wrappers, and Fanuc Robots and Controllers) is essential.

Requirements

  • Technically competent, Mechanically and Electrically, with the ability to move through and edit PLC and HMI programs easily.
  • Fluent in setup and operations of all three Brenton Product Lines (Case packers, Shrink Wrappers, and Fanuc Robots and Controllers).
  • Technically competent, mechanically and electrical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work online with Rockwell PLC's and HMI's, navigate and make edits/changes to PLC and HMI programs.
  • Professional communication, attitude and image.
  • Educator - good verbal and written presentation - organized - good planner, good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Team player with coaching, interpersonal and technical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Fanuc Robot experience and certification highly desirable.
  • 2-4 years of field experience.

Responsibilities
