Field Service Technician - Material Handling Equipment - Concord, NH
About The Position
Abel Womack is seeking skilled and motivated Field Service Technicians to join our team. This role involves working on electric vehicles and automated equipment, including forklift technician experience or transferable skills from auto, diesel, conveyor, heavy equipment, or other electro-mechanical mechanics. The position offers independent field work with a strong support network. Requirements
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical equipment with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost-effective maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals
- Ability to communicate regularly by phone and in person with team members, parts representatives, technical specialists, dispatch, lead service techs, and customers, required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor and build positive customer relationships by consistently delivering excellent customer service
- Must provide your own basic mechanic tools; specialty tools will be provided
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly

- Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensor technology, hydraulics, PLCs, or charging systems
Responsibilities
- Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks along with working on warehouse storage systems, conveyors, carousels, and other automated material handling equipment
- Work directly with our customers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges
- Apply and grow your mechanical and technical skills through continuous training
- Submit electronic work orders efficiently using a company-provided tablet
- Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and excellent customer service
