About The Position

Harpak-ULMA is seeking a Field Service Technician (FST) to join their team. This role involves traveling to customer locations to troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate, and optimize high-tech packaging equipment. The FST will provide both on-site and remote support, train customers on machine operation, and collaborate with other team members. The position requires extensive travel within the USA and Canada.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues.
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and a "Can Do" attitude.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (70-85%) and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Willing to undergo comprehensive training, including online, in-house, and shadowing senior FSTs.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical issues on high-tech packaging machines.
  • Set up, calibrate, and optimize equipment at customer locations.
  • Provide expert assistance both in person and via cutting-edge remote support technology.
  • Deliver top-tier service while training customers on proper machine operation.
  • Work closely with experienced technicians, engineers, and service managers.
