About The Position

We are hiring Field Service Technicians at multiple experience levels (I, II, and III). Whether you are just completing your compression or mechanics training, or you have a few years of field experience, we want to talk with you. We have both local and rotator positions. Students still in school: we also offer summer internships for qualified candidates who want hands-on field and shop experience before graduation. WHAT YOU'LL DO Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on natural gas compression units in the field Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues Work with engines and compressors including Caterpillar, Cummins, Waukesha, and Ariel equipment Complete field documentation and communicate with supervisors and customers Follow NGSG safety standards and HSE procedures — safety is non-negotiable WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Completed or in-progress training in natural gas compression, diesel mechanics, or a related field Strong mechanical aptitude and a problem-solving mindset Ability to work independently in a field environment Valid driver's license with a clean MVR Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning Entry-level and student candidates are encouraged to apply. We train for the specifics — we hire for the attitude. MENTORSHIP & GROWTH New technicians at NGSG don't get handed a truck and a map and wished luck. You'll work alongside experienced field techs who know these machines, these fields, and this industry. Our structured level progression (Tech I → II → III) ties real pay increases to demonstrated skill — your advancement is in your own hands. We are also actively building our summer internship program for students currently in compression or mechanics training. Internships provide paid, hands-on field and shop experience alongside our team before you graduate. Requirements

Completed or in-progress training in natural gas compression, diesel mechanics, or a related field
Strong mechanical aptitude and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently in a field environment
Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
