About The Position

Clarke, an industry leader for over 60 years, is seeking knowledgeable Diesel Technicians for their team. This role offers a competitive salary, a $1500 hiring bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The position involves repairing and providing roadside assistance using a service truck, focusing on drive train, steering, electrical, engine, suspension, and brake systems. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting, inspections, and maintaining good computer and verbal communication skills. This role requires the ability to work independently and includes a rotating on-call schedule (once every three weeks). The ability to take the service truck home is negotiable.

Requirements

2+ years Diesel Repair experience is required
Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
Valid State Driver's License required
Good computer and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work independently

Nice To Haves

Diesel Program Technical School completion and minimum 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
CDL is preferred
Ability to take service truck home - negotiable

Responsibilities

Repairs and roadside assistance out of Service Truck
Service and repair work on drive train, steering, electrical, engine, suspension, and brakes
Troubleshooting and inspections
Rotating On Call Weekly schedule (Tech would be On call once every 3 weeks)
