About The Position

Dover Grease Traps, a Liquid Environmental Solutions company, is seeking a CDL B Field Service Technician to support our grease trap service operations in Fraser, Michigan. This position performs hands-on service work using vacuum equipment to clean and maintain commercial grease traps. This is not long-haul trucking — technicians report to the shop daily, service local routes, and return home each night.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B license
• Tanker endorsement and air brakes required
• Ability to meet DOT medical requirements
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55 lbs
• Comfortable working around greasy materials and strong odors
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and on-call shifts
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable using ELD systems
• Comfortable with fleet management and routing software
• Willing and able to follow technology-based safety and compliance processes

Nice To Haves

• Prior grease trap or industry experience
• Prior vacuum truck experience

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled grease trap pumping and cleaning at customer locations
• Operate CDL B vacuum trucks and related service equipment
• Handle hoses, tools, and materials safely and efficiently
• Interact professionally with customers while on site
• Accurately complete service documentation and electronic logs
• Utilize fleet technology and onboard systems as required
• Follow all DOT, safety, and environmental compliance standards
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage (approximately 5 days per month)
