About The Position

Daniels Health is looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team and help support hospitals with critical medical waste services. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, supporting hospitals with essential medical waste services. The position requires physical activity, including moving, lifting, and making a tangible impact daily. The technician will be responsible for servicing two locations: Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Requirements

Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
Personal transportation to both work sites.
A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel between assigned locations.
A can-do attitude.
Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.

Responsibilities

Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
