About The Position

All City Environmental, a part of Liquid Environmental Solutions (LES), is a leading provider of environmental and wastewater services in the Chicago market. They specialize in grease trap cleaning, hydro jetting, vacuum truck services, and wastewater system maintenance to ensure businesses remain compliant, operational, and environmentally responsible. This role is for a hands-on, skilled trade position operating specialized equipment, solving customer problems, and building a career in a stable, growing industry. The Field Service Technician (FST) performs on-site environmental services for commercial and industrial customers, operating vacuum trucks and jetting equipment to clean and maintain grease traps, drains, and wastewater systems. It is a customer-facing, field-based role that requires mechanical awareness, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Requirements

  • CDL License
  • 1 year of verifiable CDL experience
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, bending, outdoor work)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Comfort working in wastewater, grease, and industrial environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in plumbing, drain cleaning, septic, or environmental services
  • Experience operating vacuum trucks or jetting equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on trade experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform grease trap cleaning, hydro jetting, and wastewater system services
  • Operate vacuum trucks and high-pressure water systems
  • Safely transport and dispose of non-hazardous liquid waste
  • Set up and secure work areas (cones, barriers, safety protocols)
  • Interact directly with customers on-site
  • Represent All City Environmental professionally at all times
  • Communicate service findings and recommend solutions when needed
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
  • Maintain clean, organized trucks and work areas
  • Complete service documentation accurately
  • Follow all DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations
