About The Position

Wilo USA LLC is a subsidiary of Wilo SE, headquartered in Dortmund, Germany. Wilo is a leading manufacturer of pumps and pump systems for various applications including heating, cooling, air-conditioning, water supply, sewage, and drainage. The company has expanded through acquisitions, including Weil Pump, Scot Pump, American-Marsh Pumps, QuantumFlo, and HydroServe. The Field Service Technician will work independently to perform field start-ups of new or repaired equipment, diagnose issues, and repair pumps and other products, reporting to the Director of Warranty & Service/Boyer Site Leader.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Consistent work history
• Ability to collaborate within a team
• Positive communication skills
• Capability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform field start-ups to ensure equipment is operating at design conditions
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems of pumps or other products
• Perform diagnostic tests to detect issues and identify root causes
• Rebuild/repair various products as needed for warranties and restocking
• Tear down and assessment of various products
• Utilize Warranty Ticket System to manage Field Service Events
• Maintain detailed records/documents of all field and in-house work
• Communicate with internal departments to complete assigned work
• Assist with customer/rep training on products
• Troubleshoot over the phone for pumps and equipment
• Work safely while maintaining 6s
