About The Position

As a Service Technician, you will apply your technical knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment and products for the Arjo customer on-site within the care facility. You will support customers by securing the best possible condition for mobility products and solutions. Your skills will help empower movement for people facing mobility challenges and increase the quality of lives for residents, patients and caregivers.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of field based electromechanical repair and maintenance experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of face to face technical customer service experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of sales and/or promotion of service products experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to recommend/promote/sell products and services based on observed client needs.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and technical repair skills.
  • Ability to travel to multiple customer sites on a regular basis, including overnight stays when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and providing preventative maintenance and repair services at healthcare facilities.
  • Effectively promoting and sell Arjo service agreements and products.
  • Supervising equipment installation and/or performing uncrate and assembly services
  • Instructing customer’s personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment.
  • Assisting sales personnel in marketing all Arjo equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads).
  • Maintaining an organized parts inventory in a clean Company vehicle.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
  • Deliver and retrieve medical equipment, including loading and unloading.
  • Prepare, clean and process equipment to quality standards.
  • Complete required onsite documentation with medical staff.
  • Provide safe-use instruction and professional customer service at all times.
