About The Position

The Field Service Technician will provide technical support for equipment in-house and at customer locations, including installation, training, repair, and customer support.

Requirements

• Certification from college or technical school; or a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Forms, Teams)

Nice To Haves

• Vocational training or apprenticeships in electrical and mechanical skills (specifically schematics and wiring diagrams), industrial control systems, PLC relay logic and 3 phase motors.
• HVAC certification or experience.
• Bi-lingual/Spanish capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs installations of all product lines at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
• Investigate and resolve customer reports of technical issues with equipment, and eliminate future operational or service difficulties.
• Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, manufacturing, and other personnel.
• Maintains accurate records of performance reports, expenses, billable hours, and trip reports. Documents cases in CRM database in a timely fashion.
• Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that technical support and effective service is provided to the customer.
• Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time, often for multiple consecutive weeks at the customer's site.
