About The Position

Join IGT as a Field Service Technician and become a key member of a team responsible for supporting casino gaming equipment and technology at customer locations throughout the San Pablo area. In this customer-facing role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain gaming systems while building strong relationships with casino personnel and ensuring the highest level of service and uptime. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and supporting leading-edge gaming technology in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Vocational, technical, or trade school education preferred
  • 2+ years of technical field service, electronics, gaming, networking, or related experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-facing experience with excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with hardware, software, and networking technologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers on operational and maintenance aspects of gaming equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, mechanical, and network-related issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on gaming equipment
  • Complete equipment installations, upgrades, and site surveys
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers on service-related matters
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for parts and equipment
  • Complete service reports and required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Support nearby casino locations as business needs require
  • Participate in an on-call rotation providing after-hours and weekend support
