About The Position

Our Service Team in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth is seeking a Field Service Technician who is focused and enthusiastic about servicing and repairing a variety of office equipment at various customer locations within a specific geographic area. The Copier Field Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining office equipment within an assigned territory. This role performs equipment diagnostics, installations, removals, retrofits, and basic network connectivity setup, including IP configuration, printer driver installation, and customer training. The technician manages service calls, maintains accurate parts and car stock inventory, completes administrative requirements, and stays current on product training and technical certifications. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, effective territory management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Manufacturer-certified Copier Field Service Technician (or have equivalent industry experience)
  • Strong technical expertise
  • Passion for solving problems
  • Experience servicing Ricoh products is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Customer-first mindset
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school training and 2+ years of related service or repair experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing as a team member.
  • Valid Texas driver's license.
  • Ability to manage inventory and work effectively in a field-service environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience servicing Ricoh products is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve expected productivity & proficiency levels associated with assigned workload and level of experience.
  • Manage territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate excellent technical and customer relation skills.
  • Assist with setup and delivery of equipment.
  • Installation and configuration of basic networking settings, print drivers, and scan settings.
  • Diagnose, repair, install, remove, and retrofit office equipment.
  • Perform basic network-connected device installations and customer training.
  • Manage assigned service territory and respond to service requests efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory and company-required car stock.
  • Complete service documentation and administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and development.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced technicians.
  • Build positive customer relationships and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
