About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team and support AdventHealth Orlando with critical medical waste services. This is a hands-on role that involves working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation. The technician will inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including procedural spaces, and will be responsible for lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day. Other duties include maintaining inventory, ensuring all areas are stocked and organized, using a company-provided smartphone for task management and communication, and keeping staging areas clean. Daniels Health is a healthcare service company providing safety systems and medical waste collection, focused on delivering quality and safety-focused medical waste management services that reduce needlestick injuries, positively impact infection control, and reduce environmental burden. They dispose and treat medical waste on-site at their treatment facilities.

Requirements

  • Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work
  • A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision
  • Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures
  • Reliable personal transportation

  • Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation
  • Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients
  • Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day
  • Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized
  • Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team
  • Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service
  • Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic
