About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. This person is responsible for providing on-site installation, repair, and maintenance services to clients. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving adhesive and sealant dispensing equipment issues. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver who can deliver efficient, high-quality service while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You must live within 30 miles of Carson City, NV. to be considered for this position. This position does require travel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certifications preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, and proven experience installing and maintaining equipment at customer locations is required.
  • Ability to diagnose issues quickly and find practical solutions under pressure.
  • Clear and effective communicator with both clients and internal teams, and strong focus on client satisfaction and professional interaction.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and complete jobs efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel to various client locations and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment as needed.
  • Basic understanding of safety and regulatory requirements in the field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customers to support technical and sales reviews, training seminars, demonstrations, and product/process troubleshooting.
  • Installation of adhesive equipment at customer locations.
  • Technical liaison between customers and the Applied team.
  • Make product suggestions and process improvement recommendations to customers.
  • Document service reports into ServiceMax.
  • Support and adhere to all safety procedures and complete all required safety training.
  • Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes in order to support company objectives and customer expectations.
