About The Position

Quest International is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical equipment at customer sites. This is a field-based position, not a remote IT/help-desk role. Technicians must be comfortable working independently, traveling, troubleshooting equipment, and communicating with customers.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of professional hands-on field service, equipment repair, electronics, maintenance, automotive diagnostics, medical equipment, or similar electro-mechanical experience.
  • Professional digital multimeter experience.
  • Experience independently troubleshooting and replacing components.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 80%.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with Windows 10/11 and basic networking, including ping, ipconfig, tracert, DHCP, static IP, DNS, and Remote Desktop.
  • Willing to complete the Human Performance Test.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical equipment, BMET, industrial maintenance, electronics, professional A/V, automotive diagnostics, aviation, robotics, mechatronics, manufacturing, or military technical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Diagnose and replace failed components including boards, modules, power supplies, wiring, connectors, sensors, motors, and FRUs.
  • Use digital multimeters and other diagnostic/test equipment.
  • Read technical manuals, diagrams, SOPs, and service procedures.
  • Complete accurate service reports and customer documentation.
  • Travel to customer sites and manage changing assignments.
