Field Service Technician
About The Position
MasterTech is seeking experienced Industrial Technicians with Sheetfed or Komori experience on label and printing production equipment. This role requires extensive travel to customer locations across the Eastern Seaboard, based out of Washington DC or near any major airport. The Field Service Techs will be responsible for the on-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring the machinery is properly installed and operational. Additionally, they will perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery, along with reporting issues and completing documentation.
Requirements
- Experience with electrical systems (AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring).
- Basic to advanced level experience servicing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication.
- Previous experience using oscilloscopes, drills, taps, etc.
- Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance.
- Previous Printing or Related packaging experience in PrePress and/or PostPress machinery.
- Sheetfed or Komori experience on label and printing production equipment.
