Job Title Field Service Technician Site Leader (Carmel) The Service Technician Site Leader will provide local IT Leadership and support services for the Allegion Corporate office in Carmel, IN. They will provide strategic guidance and hands-on technical support to ensure a seamless technology experience for all employees, including the Executive Leadership Team. This role combines leadership and technical expertise—supervising and mentoring the local Field Service team while acting as the technical escalation point for complex issues. The Site Leader will drive incident and request resolution to exceed SLA targets, champion the evolution of the client computing environment, and lead critical IT infrastructure projects that align with business objectives. Regular day hours Monday through Friday are required, with occasional off-hours support.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-5 years work experience supporting Manufacturing and Office environments, specifically, a high level functional and technical working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Apple OSX, Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Mobile environment operating systems; Apple iOS and Android
  • Must have outstanding and highly professional verbal and written communications skills and be effective at communicating highly technical issues in a non-technical manner, considerate of each customer's focus and priority.
  • Experience with PC Hardware troubleshooting.
  • Basic Audio-Visual Support
  • Broad technical IT knowledge and awareness of industry trends.
  • Operational Excellence - Root Cause Analysis, process, risk reduction, security and controls, change management.
  • Working in cross functional teams and the ability to work as part of a virtual team.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Candidate must be a self-motivated problem solver operating with limited supervision to help achieve goals for a global team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor Field Service Technicians and contractors.
  • Partner with site leadership to align IT priorities with business objectives.
  • Lead projects that enhance IT operations and user experience.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and serve as the escalation point for complex issues.
  • Deliver exceptional support for the Executive Leadership Team
  • Deliver comprehensive support for high-profile events and meetings—including Board Meetings, Town Halls, and conferences—ensuring seamless technology setup and flawless execution.
  • Ensure optimal performance of Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting spaces and collaboration tools.
  • Drive adherence to ITIL processes and SLA commitments.
  • Manage hardware/software lifecycle, including procurement and deployment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring incidents.
  • Perform other assigned operational duties.
  • Support network, server, and security infrastructure at a foundational level.
  • Optimize Microsoft 365 and related collaboration platforms.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve IT capabilities and efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance the end-user experience.
