Requirements

  • All potential hires are subject to pre-employment checks including background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record checks.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possess a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related field such as maintenance, repair, or installation is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Communicate effectively and courteously with customers, ensuring their needs are understood. Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical individuals.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze issues promptly, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in work completion to maintain equipment safety and efficiency.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and promptly respond to customer requests.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry advancements and product availability to make informed recommendations.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate various tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work, ensuring efficiency and safety.
  • Physical Stamina: Perform manual labor, lift heavy equipment, and work in diverse environments effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and diagnosing electro-mechanical problems with equipment, and performing installations and repairs.
  • Interacting directly with customers to understand concerns, recommend actions, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor and representing the company positively through superior customer service.
  • Executing repairs efficiently and effectively, addressing analyzed situations promptly and professionally.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance tasks on equipment for contracted customers according to company policies and procedures, and proactively addressing necessary repairs.
  • Keeping track of parts and supplies inventory in the service van.
  • Ensuring the service van is properly maintained and stocked with necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Adhering to customer safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs at customer sites.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned or required to support the company's overall operations and objectives.
