About The Position

The Field Service Technician – Level III role involves mastering all rig up and rig down operations of Scout and third-party equipment on customer fracking locations. Additionally, employees in this role will have the ability to train Level I and II technicians on tasks related to rig up and down operations. Level III Field Service Technicians are adaptable to Scout and customer needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Must have worked as a Field Service Technician Level II at Scout for at least 6 months or an equivalent role for another company.
Ability to complete tasks independently as well as take initiative to learn.
Ability to complete field service orders (FSOs) and job safety analyses (JSAs) with little to no errors (upon completion of training).
Detail-oriented both in the field and on paper.
Professional oral and written communication skills.
Mentoring and leadership abilities.
English language fluency (written and oral).

Responsibilities

Operate in a safe and responsible manner ensuring your own personal safety and the safety of those around you.
Adhere and enforce company policies and safety standards.
Perform critical assembly lifts with forklift during rig up and rig down operations on customer locations.
Assemble monobore equipment using hydraulic torque wrenches and assemble and torque connections at API standards.
Verify all torque connections and ensure full functionality of Scout and third-party equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment and report any malfunctioning or damaged products, determining the nature and scope of the problem, and recommending and coordinating repair, replacement, or corrective action.
Make suggested repairs on equipment.
Conduct field inventory lists as well as collect asset numbers.
Clean and maintain Scout-owned tooling.
Conduct and master all third-party related jobs (test pumps, frack stacks, wellheads/B-sections, toe preps).
Train Level I & II Technicians on all Scout-related field operations including rig ups, rig downs, hydraulic torque wrenches, and additional third-party related jobs.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
