About The Position

Simoniz USA is an industry-leading manufacturer of cleaning and protection products for auto dealerships, professional car washes and providers of professional housekeeping and building maintenance services. Washing Equipment Technologies, WET, is a division of Simoniz USA who sells, installs and services factory authorized PDQ car wash equipment installations in the Syracuse area. In general, begin your day from your own home location and report to the distribution facility only as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years’ electrical experience
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Available to work overtime
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Complete required safety training, perform tasks in a safe manner and follow safety policies
• Wear specified personal protective equipment as needed throughout shift, which may include steel/composite toe work boots, safety glasses and/or protective gloves
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively work with a diverse team.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English in order to follow written and verbal instruction/direction

Nice To Haves

• Technical school education preferred
• Car wash installation and service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform quality installation and service work on all vehicle wash equipment and accessories, including trouble shooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems to provide personalized customer service.
• Develop and maintain rapport with our customer base and partners with the customer to make beneficial recommendations regarding the technical maintenance of their state-of-the-art equipment
• Ensures all information is entered into the company computer system per training requirements
• Daily travel in the service area is required
• Other duties as assigned
