This position requires advanced field service expertise, providing expert-level technical support to customers including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting intricate technical issues, performing preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and performance optimization. A key aspect is building and maintaining strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring safety and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. The technician will also train and mentor junior technicians, lead small-scale field service projects, and meticulously document all service activities and prepare reports. The role requires a technical degree or equivalent certification, 3+ years of experience in the battery and power systems industry, and proficiency in relevant technical skills and tools.
