About The Position

As a Field Service Technician at Diversified Laboratory Repair, you will play a crucial part in servicing and maintaining various laboratory equipment. This role requires hands-on expertise in refrigeration and electronics, a proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, and proficiency with testing equipment and reading wiring diagrams. A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical repairs, exceptional organizational skills to maintain accurate records, and strong adherence to safety protocols are essential. Availability to work occasional overtime and rotate on-call duties is also required.

Requirements

  • Refrigeration training and 2+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with a clean record.
  • Electrical and control troubleshooting experience required.
  • Willingness to pass a government background check.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Trade School Certificate, Military/Formal Training, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle using a seat belt safely and legally.
  • Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots to safely perform job duties.
  • Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction.
  • Must be able to squat and touch the floor with both hands.
  • Must be able to reach your hands over your head.
  • Regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladders.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Universal EPA Certification preferred.
