About The Position

No two days look the same at EMS. As a Field Service Technician, you'll be out in the field every day — visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities, performing medical gas compliance and environmental testing, and building real relationships with customers who count on you. If you like hands-on work, solving problems, and staying on the move, this is the job for you.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work
1–3 years of experience in air balancing, environmental/airflow testing, industrial hygiene, EHS, mechanical/facilities work, or healthcare compliance — or a degree in a related field (recent graduates welcome).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Equivalent combinations of education, training, or hands-on experience are welcome.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor's degree
Certifications such as NEEB, AABC, or air balancing accreditation are strongly preferred.
Experience working in healthcare environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform airflow and environmental testing in hospital and healthcare environments
Support air balancing and ventilation verification across multiple hospital facilities
Work in active healthcare settings, including mechanical and hard-to-reach areas
Conduct testing during off-hours when required to support hospital operations
Travel to healthcare facilities across the Chicago and Indianapolis region
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare and safety standards
Serve as a trusted technical partner to hospital staff and internal teams
