This position requires daily travel to locations in and around the Omaha airport and surrounding area. The Field Service Technician I is responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment in the field, providing customer training, and documenting all inspections, maintenance, and repair work. The technician will also manage parts orders, cycle times, and promote service sales opportunities. Ensuring tools and test equipment are maintained and calibrated, assessing product performance, and providing technical support to customers and other service professionals are key aspects of this role. Participation in site surveys and pilot program service activities may also be required. The position requires basic technical knowledge of the company’s Trace and X-Ray technologies, clear communication skills, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with senior FSEs and Product Managers. Cost control and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and export control regulations are also essential.
