This position requires daily travel to locations in and around the Dallas Fort Worth Metro area, including the airport. The Field Service Technician I is responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction. They will install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field, provide customer training, and document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work. This role also involves ordering and managing parts, reviewing logs, preparing customer reports, participating in service sales opportunities, and ensuring tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated. The technician will assess product/equipment performance, recommend modifications, and provide technical support to customers and other service professionals. Participation in site surveys and pilot program service activities may also be required. The role demands basic technical knowledge of the company’s Trace and X-Ray technologies, clear and concise business communication, and maintaining strong relationships with senior FSEs and Product Managers. Cost control and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and export control regulations are also key aspects of this position. Travel, overtime, and work hours other than Monday-Friday may be required.
