About The Position

As Canada's trusted safety partner since 1935, Levitt-Safety is looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team in Sudbury. This is a hands-on, mobile role working at customer sites across Sudbury. The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded and enjoy working with their hands, with opportunities to build specialized skills in fire suppression and Fire & Life Safety systems. While fire suppression experience is an asset, the company is willing to train the right candidate with mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with vehicles, equipment, machinery or similar systems.
Experience with mechanical or electrical systems and hand/power tools.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable using mobile devices and technology.
Valid driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract.
Ability to pass required background and drug & alcohol screening.

Nice To Haves

Fire suppression or fire protection experience is an asset, not required.

Responsibilities

Inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems and Fire & Life Safety equipment.
Work with systems from Ansul, Kidde, Fogmaker and Amerex.
Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues using hand and power tools.
Complete inspections, service reports and required safety documentation.
Maintain your service vehicle, tools and inventory.
Provide basic customer training and support.
Represent Levitt-Safety professionally at customer sites.
