Airgas is Hiring for a Field Service Technician, in Seattle, WA! We are looking for you! Our Field Service Technicians serve as key points of contact between Airgas and the customer to contribute to all project goals while installing, commissioning, maintaining, inspecting, testing, resolving technical challenges and repairing equipment at customer sites to support the safe, effective and efficient delivery of our products to customer's point of use. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; College or technical degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work in a drug free environment.
  • Ability to be on call 24/7.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years diagnostic and repair experience required in some or all of the following: cryogenics, high pressure piping, brazing, electrical circuits, refrigeration, PLCs, and process instrumentation.
  • ASSE 6015/CGA M1 certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, test, and inspect Airgas and/or customer owned liquid and gas equipment storage systems, including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium and carbon dioxide.
  • Install, maintain, test, and inspect customer distribution/regulation systems, applications equipment, telemonitoring equipment, instrumentation, and air compressors, as well as various small on-site nitrogen generation systems.
  • Build alignment with outside service providers, customer service engineering, sales and distribution on installations and removals.
  • Provide for appropriate use of company assets, maintain essential records of work performed, compile billing information and total related costs of work performed.
  • Perform work in conformance with established safety procedures while fostering positive customer relationships through the appearance and operation of every installation.
  • Travel required throughout assigned territory - company vehicle provided
