About The Position

The Field Service Technician – Electrical supports field service operations by assisting with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment at customer sites. This entry-level role provides hands-on learning opportunities under the guidance of experienced technicians, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in Electrical Technology preferred.
0-2 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or field service, or equivalent vocational training.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, power distribution, or automation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics with guidance.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
OSHA or other safety certifications a plus.
Physical capability to work in industrial, manufacturing, and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Support testing, troubleshooting, and basic repair of electrical and control systems under supervision.
Help set up tools, materials, and work areas at job sites.
Document work performed and assist in completing service reports and work orders.
Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in proper working condition.
Follow safety protocols and comply with electrical codes and company policies.
Provide on-call or emergency support as directed.
Travel to customer sites as needed and assist in a variety of field-based environments.
Perform other duties as assigned to support operational objectives.
