About The Position

As a Field Service Specialist II, you will provide specialized repair and maintenance services for diagnostic imaging (radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, etc.) and biomedical equipment, expanding on FSS I duties. Daily, you will primarily repair and maintain intermediate imaging equipment (DR, basic CT/CT Sim, oncology, Vascular/Specials), leveraging training to reduce contract dependency. You will lead within Clinical Engineering, assisting FSS with imaging equipment repair, and manage service emergencies and communications with stakeholders. Your duties also include parts ordering, Account Manager coverage, identifying new service opportunities, analyzing cost histories for expense reduction, and supporting general biomedical equipment as needed. Success in this role requires advanced technical expertise, strong leadership, exceptional problem-solving, a proactive approach to cost reduction/training, and commitment to precise, operational healthcare technology.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, or equivalent training validated through training certificates, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing technical equipment
• Valid Driver’s License
