About The Position

Veolia Group is a global leader in environmental services, specializing in water, energy, and waste management. The Water Technology Business within Veolia is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) for its Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division. This role involves delivering on-site technical service as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and a Nuclear Power Customer in Soddy-Daisy, TN. The FSR will work independently as a resident representative, providing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems, while also focusing on building strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in instrumentation & electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training.
  • A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify).
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear access.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Safety-minded approach with ability to work in various industrial environments.
  • Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform precision work.
  • Computer proficiency and mathematical skills for technical analysis.
  • Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; the employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
  • Nuclear power experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer site.
  • Act as a technical consultant, providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams per contract language.
  • Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on-site interventions.
  • Maintain detailed service reports and inventory management.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Support one site and provide superior communication with the account manager within the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate with sales teams for optimal service delivery.
