About The Position

Field Service Representative (FSR) for the Florida Region. This role requires the individual to reside in Florida and involves extensive travel (80-90%+) regionally and nationwide for support within the Medical Devices | Eye Care Technology industry. Requirements

Must reside in Florida
Computer literate (Windows, MS Office Suite and other applications required)
Associate degree in a technical field, military technical training, or equivalent experience
2+ years in field service or technical support experience
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read & understand mechanical & electrical drawings
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Willingness to travel throughout the U.S. for training and regional support

Nice To Haves

6+ years preferred field service or technical support experience
Biomedical Equipment Experience (5 + years preferred)
Experience with optics or ophthalmic equipment is a plus — training provided

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Visionix, Briot-Weco, and Optovue Equipment
Deliver on-site troubleshooting and high-level technical support
Maintain accurate service documentation, parts inventory, and RMA processes
Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and leadership
Care for company-issued tools, diagnostic equipment, and service vehicles
Identify workflow improvements or potential sales opportunities
Mentor and support new FSRs during onboarding
Perform additional duties as assigned
