About The Position

The 604 Challenger Field Service Representative (FSR) reports to the Director of Maintenance and must accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on Challenger aircraft, as well as perform inspections as required by the FAA. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are determined by the customer flight schedule and needs. Evening, weekend, and holiday work hours are to be expected. The schedule will be based on a 2 week on, 2 week off format with potential to be extended dependent upon customer needs. CONUS and OCONUS travel is required. As requested by the customer, travel can be for extended durations and includes overnight stays outside of the normal working location.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ with commuter/business category jet aircraft.
  • GE CF34 experience.
  • Aircraft Towing.
  • Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.
  • Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations, IPC and ATA codes.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a DOD Secret Level Clearance (at minimum).
  • Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug test.
  • Must be able to obtain a passport.

Nice To Haves

  • Eight (8) years’ of aircraft-related experience.
  • Challenger 604/650 experience.
  • GE CF34 experience.
  • Prior training experience on aircraft mechanical.
  • Collins ProLine 4 experience.

Responsibilities

  • Fully analyzes all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to troubleshoot, repair and install desired product or Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels.
  • Communicate with Director of Maintenance regarding any potential issues that will interrupt customer schedule.
  • Inspects all aircraft parts for damage, prior to installation.
  • Works effectively with engineering in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements.
  • Operates all required ground support equipment.
  • Effectively troubleshoots and repairs all aircraft and customer systems.
  • Prompt attendance when scheduled.
